Faith
Certified Dog Trainer | Silver Spur K9 Academy Hi, I’m Faith! I am a Certified Canine Training and Behavior Specialist through Starmark Academy’s School for Dog Trainers. I’ve always had a passion for understanding canine behavior and that inspired me to pursue dog training as a career. During my education, I worked hands-on with dogs of various breeds, temperaments, and behavioral challenges, allowing me to develop an individualized approach for every dog I work with. I believe training should be clear, fair, and enjoyable for both dogs and their owners. My goal while training dogs is to create lasting results while strengthening the bond between every dog and their family. Outside of formal dog training, I love to hike with my personal dog Reese, who is a Great Pyrenees/ German Shepherd. I am also starting to get involved with various dog sports with her such as scent work and trick training.
Aly
Sales Consultant | Silver Spur K9 Academy Hi, I’m Aly, I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember, growing up with everything from German Shepherds to Pomeranians. My professional journey began in dog boarding and pet care, where I spent four years caring for dogs and building relationships with their families. I also fostered dogs through Be My Forever Home in Dallas, primarily working with Pit Bulls to help rehabilitate, train, and prepare them for their forever homes.
Through those experiences, I saw firsthand how much of a difference proper training and education can make. I learned that many dogs aren't “bad” they simply haven't been taught how to navigate life successfully, and many families haven't been given the tools to effectively communicate with them. That realization inspired me to pursue professional dog training.
After continuing to develop my training skills and work with clients and their dogs in Los Angeles, I knew I wanted to bring my experience back to Texas. That vision became Silver Spur K9 Academy, built around three things that matter most to me: caring for dogs, educating families, and creating lasting relationships between the two.
I believe every dog is different, which is why I take an individualized approach to training. My goal isn't just to train a dog, it’s to help families better understand their dogs and give them the confidence and tools to continue that success at home.
